John Siler

John Siler is a native of Belmont, N.C. He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music, where he majored in organ. He holds a Master’s and Ph.D. in Music Education from the University of South Carolina. Having taught for many years at the public school and college levels, he now teaches private lessons in piano and organ. His composition teachers have been Scott Huston (Cincinnati), and Gordon Goodwin (U. of South Carolina). His wife, Jan, is also a music teacher.
